Yesterday the results of Civil Services Prelims 2016 were released which were a heart breaker for many. Around 15448 cleared out of around 6 lakhs students who appeared in the examination. One more thing to notice is that around 11 lakh students applied for the UPSC Exam. Such is the craze of this exam, which is not surprising as who doesn’t want to be a part of the bureaucracy with all the power to rule. But when it comes to qualify the exam the UPSC exam preparation is hell for students.

The students have to give 2 to 3 most precious years of their lives to the preparation of this exam which covers topics as varied as Indian Constitution, Geography, Economy, Social Issues, Current Affairs, History(India and World), International Relations, Environment & Ecology and what not. The list is endless.

There is no guarantee that after this much of hard work and labour you will clear the exam. The exam requires a very concentrated and focused approach but what it wants the most is your good luck. If your luck is not good no body can help you.

When we are preparing for UPSC we can not do anything else. It is just UPSC. Everything else stops which is never a wise thing to do but when 6 lakh people are competing for mere 1000 vacancies this had to be done.

When we are preparing for UPSC Exam we feel like we are very poor. As we are preparing we are giving around 8 to 10 hours of our time to our preparation so we are not in a position to do a job which will obviously make us frustrated because having some optimal amount of money in our pocket is very very important.

There are thousands of negative thoughts which tend us to redirect in the wrong way. But big thing demands bigger action and without doubt UPSC Exam Preparation is a very very big thing.
